make that Little Red's World Adventure

So, when Victoria from Continental indicated my luggage had flown to another city, she failed to mention it happened to be another city NOT in the United States. Yes, my luggage went back to England. In fact, it went back to the flat where we stayed. This is a HUGE inconvenience and I expect to be compensated by the airline in some way whether it be a lifetime supply of pretzels or free tickets anywhere in the U.S.

why are you having to play hide and seek with your luggage? shouldn't it have arrived on the plane with you?

the sad thing is it WAS on the plane from UK to Newark. someone in customs screwed up and put it on the wrong baggage carousel after we headed to security for our Nashville flight.

Note to readers: Amanda left the old luggage tags on so there were tags for both Nashville and Birmingham, UK. Sorry, but you can't blame it completely on their incompetency. Mostly, yes. But not completely.

lb, the incompetency lies in the hands of Customs at Newark Liberty. And the ticket agent is also supposed to double check and help lessen the confusion as well. Fortunately, I will have clean clothes in a couple of days. Let's hope Newark customs doesn't eat your Cadbury Christmas gift!
